My Secret Life

I feel the beating of my heart paralleled with the throb of the lava pouring into the sea.
The pulsing life-blood that runs through the blood vessels and arteries of my body bend branch and break off in the same pattern of the raging river flowing through the forest.
As I leap from a rock into the blue green water I witness the same vision of the Milo leaf as it dances it’s way from the branches to the sea.
My hair reaching across the grass where I lay is the same reaching that the Lilikoi vines mimic as the morning sun brushes their backs.
As I rise from the grass and defy gravity the small germ in the same field of grass uncurls and extends to the sun even when gravity pulls back with it’s push
After a day of hard work I fall into my bed with the same need for rest as the dead tree that falls onto the forest floor. As I close my eyes to renew my energy the tree begins to pour it’s remaining energy to renew the life of the forest.
When I open my eyes my consciousness blooms and it's fragrance fills the room in the same manner of the mid morning ginger that blooms to wake its neighbors.
I quietly laugh at these synchronicities as the sun’s chuckle gently slips from behind the clouds and warms my skin.
I Cannot Say
I Cannot Say
