Join us February 12th, and every 2nd Friday of the month, for an open mic and featured poet from Speakyoursoul.org or the Tacoma community. We will begin at 8pm; open mic sign-ups will also start at 8pm. The open mic is open to all styles of poetry, especially poems intended to build a better world.

Featured Poet for February 12: Ariel Z
Ariel Z is a new addition to the Tacoma the Speak Your Soul family. Her poetry is powerful, personal and whimsical - not limited to specific genre, style, page or stage. She has performed throughout the west coast and has made her contributions to the Oregon Spoken Word scene as a writer, Slam competitor and event producer. Now in Tacoma, she hopes to find new artistic community and avenues for poetic expression.
