November 13 * 7 pm. Distinguished Writer Series and Open Mic.
This monthly event features a distinguished writer and an open mic for poets, playwrights, short story writers, and others. This month features Brian Desmond. Open Mic sign-up is at 6:30 pm. Admission is free. The event occurs monthly the second Friday of every month at King's Books. Sponsored by the Tacoma Arts Commission and the Puget Sound Poetry Connection. Part of Art At Work:Tacoma Arts Month 2009.

Tacoma: Speak Your Soul Open Mic 11/13

Join us November 13th, and every 2nd Friday of the month, for an open mic and featured poet from Speakyoursoul.org or the Tacoma community. We will begin at 8pm; open mic sign-ups will also start at 8pm. The open mic is open to all styles of poetry, especially poems intended to build a better world.
