This monthly event features a distinguished writer and an open mic for poets, playwrights, short story writers, and others. This month features Ronda Broatch. Open Mic sign-up is at 6:30 pm. Admission is free. The event occurs monthly the second Friday of every month at King's Books. Sponsored by the Tacoma Arts Commission and the Puget Sound Poetry Connection. Start: 8:00 pm

Join us October 9th, and every 2nd Friday of the month, for an open mic and featured poet from Speakyoursoul.org or the Tacoma community. We will begin at 8pm; open mic sign-ups will also start at 8pm. The open mic is open to all styles of poetry, especially poems intended to build a better world.
