Quantitative data were collected through two survey instruments specifically designed to measure teachers' beliefs in NCTM's vision and their reported practice of using certain NCTM-aligned practices. Of the eighty-two seventh- and eighth-grade mathematics teachers in the identified school district of Nevada, seventy-three (89.0%) participated in this study.
