College Horizons prepares Native American, Alaskan Native, and Native Hawaiian students for college through intensive 5 day workshops hosted by colleges and universities committed to educating and funding College Horizons students. Higher Education professionals work closely with the students to prepare them for the application process and the transition to college.

"In 2005, College Horizons was recently awarded the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC) Human Relations Award at its annual meeting in Tampa, Florida. This award is given to the organization or individual that "is instrumental in making postsecondary educational opportunities available to historically underrepresented students."
